1. Who we are

Clearly Handy, operated by Jean-Christophe Fortier, Québec (QC) G3A 2N3, Canada. Person in charge of personal information (Québec Law 25): Jean-Christophe Fortier, clearlyhandy.help@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

  • When you order: name, email, shipping address, phone number (if provided) and what you bought.
  • Payment: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • When you contact us: your email address and your messages.
  • Browsing: two first-party cookies: ch_lang (your language choice, 1 year) and ch_attr (which ad or link brought you here, such as a campaign name, 90 days; no personal data). If we turn on the Meta or TikTok advertising pixels, they collect browsing data to measure our ads.

3. Why we use it

To process, ship and track your order; send your confirmation and tracking number; answer your questions and handle replacements or refunds; prevent fraud; meet our legal and accounting obligations; and measure how well our ads work. We don't sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

  • Stripe (payments, United States).
  • CJ Dropshipping, our fulfillment partner, which receives your name, address and phone number to pack and ship your order (China).
  • Carriers that deliver your package (including USPS and Canada Post).
  • Our technology providers: hosting (Cloudflare), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), mailbox (Google).
  • Meta and TikTok, only if the advertising pixels are turned on.

Transfers outside Québec and Canada: some of these providers are located outside Québec and Canada (including the United States and China), so your information may be processed there under those countries' laws. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as our tax and accounting obligations require (generally 6 years), then deleted. Support emails are kept for 2 years.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing clearlyhandy.help@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. Québec residents may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Residents of California and other Canadian provinces have similar rights under their laws.

7. Security

We use established providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to what is needed. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
